…the founders of Convergence had a very clear vision of how a company should operate. It happens that those values are GREAT©. They are:
Growth. We know that business growth is an important component of a company that is built to last. But, equally important is personal growth and having employees that do what they love to do.
Relationships. This is the fundamental cornerstone of how we operate with customers and interact together as employees.
Existing Companies First. You will never see Convergence compromise existing customers for the benefit of a new, larger customer.
Ahead of the Curve. We believe that our employees need to be technically ahead of the curve so that our customers can keep their networks up to best practices.
Teamwork. There’s no doubt that teamwork is hard work! We know that teamwork is a choice where it starts with good communications and a common goal for our employees and customers.
Has part of our success been a result of these values? Yes! We are so proud of the fact that our company has grown and allowed us to reach so many businesses and help them solve complex IT matters. We not only added new customers but we have added new employees during one of the toughest economies in history. What an exciting accomplishment!
As we have hired those employees, we noticed that each of them had a passion for technology and a passion for people. Of course, that blend is a perfect combination to live up to our values and accomplish our goals. We now provide network technical support to companies in 11 different states. That in itself speaks volumes as a value based company.
Going forward… Have we changed our values? No! We’re still operating from the same principles and standards we did in the year 2000. We’ve noticed that it is easy for companies to talk about being a “best of class” or a “world class” organization. But, we also know from our own experience that it takes more than just talking about it. What it really takes is earning that accolade over a period of time. For all of us at Convergence it is about building trust so that our customers can have peace of mind in their networks.
