The Faces of Convergence
January’s Employee of the Month – Dave Mitchell
Dave started with Convergence back in July 2007 serving as a Senior Systems Engineer. For the previous 9 years Dave worked as a network administrator for a credit union in Portland. During that time the credit union underwent a merger for which Dave took the lead on the network integration and domain migration project. In addition, Dave was responsible for over 40 Windows servers and over 150 desktops and users. Prior to that he worked as a system administrator at an international recycling company.
Dave, originally from the Boston area, has been in the Portland area for the last twenty years. He currently lives in Hillsboro with his fianceé, Brandy.
Dave is a avid sea kayaker, and he enjoys mountain biking, road bikes and hiking, as well as having a few of his photographs published over the years. If you stumble upon a skateboard race in the northwest you may find him either running the race, racing or both.
