The Faces of Convergence
March’s Employee of the Month- Chris Becker
Chris is a Portland native, born and raised. He started his IT career at age 16 as a Technical Support Representative for Windows 95. He has now been in IT more than 12 years. Chris came to Convergence in early June of 2007. Chris and his partner in crime (and fellow self proclaimed “pretty-man”) Andrew Alter hold down the front lines in POD Charlie. He is an integral part of POD Charlie and the whole Convergence team. Chris brings with him a wealth of technical knowledge mixed with a great sense of humor, which helps him build up great rapport with the customers he assists.
Chris attended LTS Computer Training of Oregon, where he earned his A+, NET+, MCP, and MCAS certifications. He also spent some time teaching A+ courses at LTS.
Chris and his lovely wife, Nicole, live in a charming home in Aloha with their beautiful new baby boy Elliott Kent who was born 2/18/08. In his free time Chris enjoys taking walks with his family and their five dogs to the dog parks, going to the beach, camping, and enjoying the great outdoors. He also loves to play paintball, and does so as often as possible. Of course Chris also has a love for all things electronic, and he really loves the challenge of learning how to master the latest and greatest technological and electronic gizmos.

March should see the rains slowing, and maybe even a peek at the sun.
